The purpose of the 教育 101 field placement is to help 学生 ground the ideas discussed in class with direct observation in a 学校. Background

Students in this course will serve as “learning partners” to a student in a local middle 学校 or junior high for a minimum of twenty-four hours throughout the semester. 365下注平台的每个学生都将与七年级或八年级的学生一对一配对, and will be available to provide that student with real-time academic support while also observing the learning behaviors in the classroom in which they are visiting. 365下注平台的学生将在每周指定的时间跟随他们的学习伙伴, 做实地记录, and be available to work with that student in ways that are helpful and appropriate for the student and the teacher in the classroom. The Bowdoin student will reflect on this fieldwork in student learning analyses and develop an ethnographic case study of the student.
